When I run some old games with VDMS I get the soundoutput to my "PC" instead of my speakers! (Really terrible "music" from the PC) How do I change to my speakers? I've tried the most under "Advanced VDMSound Properties" but it seems I do some wrong...anyone got any idea?

I don't understand you fully. Do you mean that you got internal speaker sound? Most games must be configured to use a certain sound card. This is specially true for ms-dos programs.

sorry I did't explained that well. No, I only have external speakers. Two of them, but the sound doesn't come out of them but instead from the "hardware-CPU?" (some beeping from the CPU I guess)..anyway..

I don't know if there is a bug or only a problem that I have run into but I got the sound in my speakers now. The only thing I did was the I checked the box "Diagnostic Log" under "Troubleshooting" in the meny of "Advanced VDMSound Properties".

That made the sound correct in both Monkey Island 1 and 2 for me...

sorry bothering...

It was probably something completely unrelated that you did the second time that you didn't do the first time, like running the game using the "Run with VDMS" option instead of just double-clicking.

Yes, it’s my fault.
