They've been pointed out a few times before 😀.
They do make me want to build a SS7 rig though 🤣.
if the ebay listing can be believed, they have 28,000 of these chips.
I think I have the luxury of time on this one.
^.^

$23.00 is a bit much considering this deal
http://cgi.ebay.com/Intel-D815EEA-Pentium-III … =item45f40a34fb
Intel motherboard, 667mhz P-III and 128mb RAM for $17.95
I previously saw this before building a K6-2/3 system.
At CPU world, I found this specs page : http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/K6-2/AMD-Mobile … -2+-570ACZ.html
Two things made me pass this deal :
1. The Bus speed is shown as ? 95Mhz
2. K6-2+ has 128kb cache instead of the 256kb which is present in a K6 III.
I don't know if the above two will have substantial impact on the usage. Others may help to comment.

This seller is (soon:was?) the best source of these chips.

K6-III+, NOS and VERY overclockable!
And MUCH cheaper also!
Edit2:Heres the better link: http://cgi.ebay.de/SOKET-7-BOARD-OVERCLOCKING … =item1c1c32e0c6
I thought he was running out of chips, but for some reason I can only find this page if I browse through his sales page Endedit
The 23$ one is a K6-2+!

You can clock the 570Mhz part at 5.5x 100Mhz though. They only had the 95Mhz FSB because they (=AMD) perhaps didn't trust them running reliably at 600Mhz.
