Hey. I downloaded a game called Dragon Ball Z Millenium and everytime I try to play it, it says "Library (built in) Message: Can't change video mode.

Error detected.

I am using windows xp also. It worked fine on my mom's computer maybe because she has a older version I guess. Can anyone help me?

What video mode does the game use? Maybe it has some setup utility. If it's using VESA modes you may need to run NOLFB.COM before the game starts. NOLFB is a little utility that makes your video card reports there aren't any "linear framebuffer" VESA modes, sometimes needed for compatibility issues under WinXP.

Keep us posted.

It didn't say what type it used, but I will go and try what you sent me.

Umm since I am kinda new to this, what is NOLFB.COM? I thought it was a web site 🤣.

Oh boy. This may be harder than I thought haha. I didn't think just trying to get one game to work would be such a problem. So, if I did all that then it might work?

No guarenties.
It's just a suggestion. A good one though.

It requires the problem to VESA and your videocard should be at least vesa 1.2 complient. And offf course many other unknown factors

Does that only work for installed games like on a CD? I downloaded this game off a web site.
