how is loading ctmmsys.sys gonna make a card more SB16 compatible towards games? Games don't use ctmmsys.sys AFAIK.

How can you tell the difference?

I tested the games with a regular SB Pro and they would still work with the SB 16 driver selected. At least Duke Nukem 3D and Simon the Sorcerer 2 would work that way.

I thought it was really weird at the time too. I wish I knew more.
