Two hours ago i was playing PERFECTLY and now when i try to execute dosbox a message appear before to close fast the window:

Fatal signal: Segmentation Fault (SDL Parachute Deployed)

The version is 0.60

P4 2,4
Geforce 2
256 ram
W xp

I`ve try to restore a "restored point" but it isn`t the solution...

is sdl.dll 1.2.5 in your dosbox folder?
try reinstalling dosbox

MB: ASRock B550 Steel Legend

...and the error continue... probabily is a Wxp error (or not...) but I´ve repared it reinstalling Wxp 😎

Weird. I have seen that same error sometime, but it went away by installing a different DOSBox version.

Instead of just reinstalling Windows you'd do good by running the System File Checker -- "sfc /scanonce" and reboot.

Is /scanonce more thorough than /scannow? Also, be aware that you need your XP CD handy if you decide to use the System File Checker.

Is it SFC secure to be used? What if you have upgraded some system components like Direct-X?

I think it's fairly intelligent about what files it replaces, as I've run it recently and haven't encountered any complications. Any more detail than that would be speculation on my part though.
