miraculously the problem doesn't show with SVN of Dosbox 😀
I was wondering myself if it had something to do with the PowerPC chip in the G3 and G4 iBooks. I know for example, that Dosbox 0.74 for Ubuntu has no such error when running on an Intel system. Don't have access to an Intel Macbook right now.

Intel Macs don't have that problem and for PPC the problem is fixed in SVN. I'm attaching a PPC only app of Dosbox SVN. It *should* work on any PPC machine. (it doesn't have SDL-net features, though)
(just to be sure, I compiled the 0.74 source with the *same* SDL and it shows the teardrop issue, so it is NOT a SDL issue 😀)
