Hi,
This is the board:
mini_167876file.jpg
To use this, i need ems driver from acculogic or setup disk files. I don't find it on google?!?
Made in 1989.
Does i need driver for XMS? or Xms is only or os/2? on my 286 AT there is no more XMS with this ram board in dos 6.22

Nice, these work in 8 bit slots as EMS cards.

I see you've been trying to get that driver for quite some time. I did my best to hunt it down, but I couldn't find anything. I have found that drivers for memory boards from the late 80s can be pretty hard to find.

I have 4 ram board isa
--->3 for AT ISA 16bit with drivers

-Megalith plus DFI 8mb XMS/EMS
-Advantage! AST 2mb XMS (no driver requiered)
-AT-Rambank DTK 2mb XMS/EMS

--->1 for AT 16bit or XT 8bit

-Simmply-Ram Acculogic 8mb EMS without drivers

It's the last upgrade for my amstrad, but i'will need a ISA riser to have 5 isa 8bit, i have only 4
-Trident 512k (16bit) 16 or 256 colors 648x480 on windows 3.0
-Nic 10mbps Eterlink 8bit
-890 SCSI 8bit (HD 1go scsi)
-Sound blaster 1 8bit or i can to use SB pro 16bit
Cpu Nec v30 and 8087 FPU
Original 320k DD and original keyboard with serial mouse
SVGA Screen
The Original screen is dead, i use only the power supply

Ok thank you, that was the same i just found..

I dont like those drivers at all.. And really dont like taiwan EMS boards...

Orginally these drivers are for the MEMO2000A memory board.
And a DTK MEGABIT one.. when i started the installation it says to move some jumpers on the board, but the bad is that the setting arent for this board iam using.. And the board is also messing with the UMA memory mapping area.. Its just need a special memory address where my SCSI HOST CARD was one and a minimal size of 64KB..
So i needed to replace an older SCSI HOST CARD for a NEWER TYPE..

Because the older SCSI HOST CARD only could set 4 memory adress
(just the address the EMS board needs to have, and just conflicting with the SCSI HOST adapter) The NEWER CARD i can SET more mapping adresses. So i can free them up for the memory board..
And then trying to install the board.. But when want to use it i gave me an error... So is very hard to set this board for installation..
So iam think iam better off to buy an real brand with drivers that are available.. And have an very easier installation!

The weird was that the memory was installed on the left side of the board.. If iam using the online installation manual.. Its says i need to begin to install the memory chips on the right side.. So this is really confusing me..

So that my opinion on TAIWAN JUNK BOARDS!

Iam going to find an other EMS board with better drivers included.. Thx for any help.
