So I figured out the basic installation of DOSbox and got PM2 to work; however, there is no sound, and it will not let me save due to a "disk error." I tried reading the basic manual, but I failed to understand it at all...

You might have a bad copy in that case. From where did you get it?
It saves and loads for me. Did you configure the sound?

As for configuration, I didn't understand how to do it when I read the manual.
