I have theme hospital working with dosbox on MAC os, what I'm wondering is, is it possible to use the old level skip cheat with dosbox, and if so how should I do it?

Heres how it used to work, using terminal...

RUN..

"C:\Program Files\Bullfrog\Hospital\Hospital.exe"

now just add the -Lxx to jump to level xx:

"C:\Program Files\Bullfrog\Hospital\Hospital.exe" -L08

Can you achieve something like this on dosbox on mac osx?

Of course. How exactly are you running the game in DOSBox in OS X? Are you using some kind of launcher?

Hi yes, I am using a package made into a .app in there there is a dosbox launcher and wrapper and then the files for theme hospital itself. but I could easily launch the files from an external dosbox or boxer I would think?

Then I guess you should try to do so. In the end it all comes down to typing "Hospital.exe -L08" instead of "Hospital.exe" at the appropriate spot.

However, if you have any difficulties doing so, you should probably ask the people at whatever site you downloaded this .app from.

Mmm I get illegal command tried these two...

Z:\ "/Applications/hospital.app/Contents/Resources/th/HOSPITAL.EXE" -L10
Z:\ "HOSPITAL.EXE" -L10

Also tried without " and it just did nothing, any ideas?

Hi thanks for the advice, the only thing is I'm not using a disk so I'm not sure how to mount this without the disk step?
