If you are running programs as a standard user and did not give your user account write access to the "Dungeon Hack" folder and subfolders then the save game files will be in the "Virtualstore" folder in your user profile under the hidden folder "Appdata".

Thank you, DosFreak for your reply. I think I am more computer-literate than the average computer user but not enough to understand what you are telling me unfortunately. I found where I downloaded this program from: http://www.oldgames.sk/ - it puts a shortcut on my desktop during installation & I am asking (I also wrote an email to the owner of the above site) specifically how it is possible (if it is) for me (not a computer expert who understands all of the computer languiage experts speak but happily uses DosBox & is willing to learn - I have my own site online which I put up myself) to access this program to enter the cheat "set aesop_diag=1" - which must be written after entering the Hack directory. It is easy enough when I am accessing the program Hack directly through DosBox but I cannot see if it is possible the way this particular program I am asking about here is set up.

If you have downloaded it you will get no support here. That site is an abandonware site. No support for abandonware. You need to go to the site where you downloaded it from and ask them. Dungeon Hack was never released as freeware.

Sorry - I had no idea it was still being sold. I guess I should have checked Amazon or ???
