One of the games I REALLY want to cover on Ancient DOS Games is Amulets and Armor, but I've never been able to find a physical copy of the full version. Then I discovered not too many months ago that this game only sold a tiny number of copies, so getting a physical copy is probably going to be next to impossible. I've been keeping my eyes open since then but to no avail.
However, at the same time, since the game sold so very badly, I'm left to wonder what kind of legal status it would have. The number of copies sold is so low that it's almost as though it was never sold at all, but it was clearly a commercial title and from what I've played of the demo version I really want to see this game get some more attention... but then what would be the point if virtually no one has a legal copy? :/
I tried getting in touch with one of the people who worked on the game but never heard back. Actually, finding details about the game is surprisingly difficult as most of my searches just pull up abandonware links.
So I'm wondering if anyone has any useful information about this game and whether or not there has been a sanctioned free release of it or not.
