I could not find a forum for aDOSBox, the android port of DOSBox. I emailed the author of the android port twice with no response so I hope someone here might help me.
As a test, I installed regular DOSBox on my Windows 7 PC, mounted the dos program's folder as D:, cd'd to it and ran the DOS program I wanted on it. It ran fine. So I wanted to run the same program on my android phone.
I have an android 2.3.4 rooted phone on which I successfully installed aDOSBox. So on the phone I did the same as above, mounted the folder, moved to it and tried to run the dos program. Unfortunately after trying to start within 1 second aDOSBox crashed and threw me back into android.
I need help with the following (which may be similar as in DOSBox):
1. how do I find out what is crashing aDOSBox? I don't get any error messages. It just crashes.
2. Because it is a phone screen the aDOSBox text is very small. How does one change the font or magnify the text in DOSBox? It might be the same in aDOSBox.
3. The program I am trying to run is a low demand DOS program and it runs just fine in DOSBox on my Windows PC. Could I find out what the settings are in DOSBox so I can transfer them to the android port?
Finally, the DOS program is called Cpack200 and I would be glad to send its files if that would be helpful.
I hope someone on this forum can help me. Thank you for any help.
