I'm trying to run Keen 5 in DOSBox, but I keep getting this message:

"Combining EGA1.CK5 and EGA2.CK5 into EGAGRAPH.CK5...
Can't rename EGA1.CK5!"

Any idea how to fix it?

I've done the whole;

mount c c:\games\

c:\

c:\keen\keen5e

and it used to work with other versions of the game, but I haven't played for a while. Something's changed...hmm.

I think, that way you may be running the keen5e file, but it remains on the root directory. If the program's trying to locate the files needed, it won't find them there. Try cd keen from the c:\> prompt and then run keen5e.

Thank you! It finally works. 😁

This is what I typed;

mount c c:\games

c:\

cd keen

keen5e
