My Dad (yep, the same guy who composed the music for the original Karateka and Prince of Persia) called from New York to tell me he was doing some spring cleaning and had shipped me a carton of old games and other stuff of mine he’d found in the back of a closet.
The carton arrived yesterday. My jaw dropped when I saw what was inside.
That's an interesting story though I didn't know that the code was lost in the first place.
Just shows that the loss of digital information is a real issue and more care needs to be taken.

It's real. I talked to him several years ago about it, and he wanted to share the source but couldn't find it.
What about "Prince of Persia 2" sourcecode?
So if the source code is in 6502 assembly-language, what is the difference between that source code and disassembled executable (except comments)?
Labels, variable names (memory locations) etc.
