Hi, I'm trying to find GTA 1 to run on dosbox on macbook pro. So far I downloaded a version that has only gta-install.exe file in it and a dosbox cant read it saying "Illigal command". Does anyone know where to find a proper version of gta so that it can run on bosbox for mac? Or please provide me step-by-step solution on how to make it run.

Try a legitimate copy.

GTA 1 is legit and free direct from Rockstar, but it's a Windows only affair.

Correct, Steam has MAC compatible GTA's going back to GTA 3.

Maybe they are working on the first two games ?
