Hi, I understand this isnt a topic that the dosbox authors will reply or help on which i fully understand but has anyone got windows 98 se to install and run successfully on the mac version of dosbox? I have it running fine in the windows version but I think i used a specific version that I cant remember to use it. If anyone has what version of dosbox did you use?

You could try the SVN build but generally Windows 95 runs best even though it is NOT supported

I'd get a copy of Virtual PC with Windows 98 instead.

For OSX I'd recommend VMWare Fusion, Parallels or VirtualBox.

Thanks for the replies. The reason I am leaning towards dosbox though is because neither VMware, Virtualbox or Parallells have full direct3d support in a windows 98 guest. When I had Dosbox running windows 98 in it I had lots of these games running with direct 3d. I really dont want to go back to windows just for this as i much prefer the mac OS

Dosbox doesn't have direct3d support in a win98 guest either.
