Trying to play setters 2 with two players. First player need a USB mouse and second player need to be on the serial port with a mouse. My computer has no serial ports so I got HL-340 which is a serial -> usb converter. I got drivers for it and it seems to work.

Now when I start dosbox it get extremely slow (I can't even start settlers 2) when I have settings setup for my serial mouse.

serial2=directserial realport:com4

If I change it to

serial2=directserial realport:com3 < my mouse has com4 so just for testing without it and dosbox run at normal speed again.

I have tried change the bits per second and stuff for the mouse in the device managed without any result.

Anyone know how to fix this slow down? Thanks in advance..

I changed the serial mouse com port to 1 in device managed and dosbox setting to this:
serial1=directserial realport:com1

Now it's not slow anymore but second mouse is not moving when playing.

Maybe there is a driver upgrade for your usb/serial port device?

I tried like 10 different drivers for that thing or something. But only one got it to work. So not sure about that.
