I am testing DOSBox on Vista 64 bit to run an old DOS based accounting type program for a client of mine. It works fine except that once the accounting app is launched inside DOSBox the mouse becomes super laggy, almost useless. This doesn't just occur inside the DOSBox. Even if I move the mouse outside the DOSBox to run my normal Windows applications the same thing occurs. If I minimize the DOSBox then my mouse recovers but as soon as I bring the DOSBox back up the lag starts again. This doesn't seem to be related to the conf file settings since the lag occurs outside the DOSBox though I did play with the mouse setting in the conf file but it had no effect. Any ideas?
