Prince of Persia 2: Shadow and the Flame
There's 3 versions of this game:
1- Prince of Persia 2 (Floppy)
2- Prince of Persia 2 1.0 (Floppy)
3- Prince of Persia 2 1.1 (CDROM)
Press Alt+V in-game to see version
Fix #1: ** All versions **
General Midi sends drum program changes that only work
on original Roland SC-55 models (not mkII or higher).
This new driver maps it correctly to work on all Roland models
Instructions:
1. Copy MIDI.DRV to POP2 folder
2. Copy MMPU401.DRV to POP2\SNDDRVRS
3. Run SETUP.EXE
Fix #2: ** CDROM only **
The CDROM collections took out the in-game sound + music data
for the General Midi.
Feature can be restored.
Instructions:
1. Copy Prince 1.1 files to POP2 folder

Trivia:
Looks to be 2 main soundtracks
- MT-32 / Adlib / Other
- General Midi
The first one uses lots of illegal MT-32 channels (1,11-16), sends some illegal drum kits. Sounds quite alright though.
GM data is hidden in the TANDY files. Uses all 16 channels, GS percussion (Roofs = shakers, Desert = open surdo), GS drums (small mix of jazz + room). Sets SC-55 reverb to 100 on all channels. Music seems to resemble the Adlib one.
