Take a look at this odd 486 board on eBay,
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Itox-Motherboard-g486 … c-/300734194334

The PCI slot is shared with an 8-bit ISA slot. And there's only 1 PCI slot. This is likely one of those industrial 486 boards. It also uses a VIA chipset; weren't those buggy with PCI slots?

I wouldn't mind seeing a Speedsys screen capture of one of these.

I wonder if one can disable the onboard video (it has onboard according to the advertisement on Ebay).
It does look like it's one of those industrial boards.

If I could get it shipped for $10, I'd buy it.

I wonder what PCI version that slot is. You might be able to build a 486 system that is able to use a more recent PCI video card than the ones that were actually made during the 486 era. It might be worth toying around with if you could use a V3 or later card in that slot.

Voodoo3 does work in some 486s from the mid-90s.

We know that a Voodoo3 will work in SiS socket 3 boards. It will not work in UMC socket 3 boards. Has anyone tried a Voodoo3 in an ALi, OPTI, or Intel socket 3?
