A new in box Sony CRT is the sex.
Edit: And it seems I just won a copy of Jazz Jackrabbit on CD-ROM for 99c. Bargain.
I had a bit of a scare with the Sony - I noticed a little blemish up the top where the tube meets the plastic and of course, being unable to leave things alone, I tried to rub it off with a tissue. It looked like I'd spread a bit of glue around, so I rubbed harder... it got worse. I guess I should have read the manual because it turns out that these things have an anti-glare coating which is easily damaged.
Realising that I'd completely f*cked it up I was very annoyed with myself, but when you're going through hell keep going as they say, so I decided to rub it all off. It's taken a bit of doing but I'm almost there, and it's actually much brighter with it gone. I booted to Windows with it half off and in contrast to the cleaned part of the screen, the tinted part had a brownish tinge that did nothing for whites.
