I'd like to convert some old-school videos from avi to mpeg1 to be viewed in dosbox by vmpeg. Any ideas?
Thanks
Jack

Besides, there are other ways to view AVI files in DOS, like http://multimediaware.com/qv/ .

I think there's a DOS port of MPlayer, too.

I used to have a program called avi2mpg1.... I think that ran under DOS, and it did a pretty good job

I take it back - I looked it up and that is a windows program (it just has a command-line interface)
