Hey all,

I've been reading these forums for quite sometime and used some of the tips to fix some of my DOS BOX issues. I'm from the old DOS days so feel free to be frank with me 😀

I recently finished Under A Killing Moon without any problems through the GoG.com version with Dos Box running with my MT32 through my USB 2 Midi adapter.

Unfortunately I'm not having much luck with the Pandora Directive. Using the default Sound Blaster emulation and MPU 401 works well, but I want it to use my physical MT32. Changing the option in the dosboxtex4.conf file to use my correct Midi device port (1) worked great with UAKM, however choosing MT32 in the config setup of Pandora crashes the game instantly (DOS4GW error).

I'm curious where this is going wrong - I read a post about binary changes in the tex4.exe file but I'm not sure if this would work for me.

Any pointers?

Before people ask - I'm using Windows 7 64bit.

Hmm you setup seems to be working fine. You are better off posting this at the GOG.com forum as GOG.com has this habit of modifying / breaking things when they release games.

Apart from changing the config file setting so that it uses the USB midi adapter, there is nothing else DOSBox that needs changing...

That's what I was afraid of.. I still have my original CD copy somewhere as well.
Would it be worthwhile to check if that works? Never realized they made many changes to the binaries..

On that same note - my GOG copy of Overseer doesnt seem to work either, altho I know that doesnt use DosBox.

Thanks for the heads up!

Definitely check the CD!

In many GOG.com games they don't include the SETUP.EXE for example that allows you to change the soundcard. I guess they want it to "just work" for the majority of people.
