hi there

first i wanna say thank you for your great work. dosbox is a exceptional piece of software, and has given me some hours of nostalgia playing my old dos favorites 😁

anyway, i wonder how the modem emulation works. i understand it can connect 2 pc's running dosbox by tunneling a modem connection through tcp/ip.

so, could anyone give me a hint on how to use it? do i simply have to ATDT an IP-Address? or do i have to map phone-numbers to ip-address?

I would like to know this also. I've been trying to get Detroit working across our network with this modem emulation, and it isn't working.

it's unintentionally disabled in the 0.60 release and can't be enabled.

but the idea is ATDT IPnummer

Can't be enabled? Even by modifying the source?

Umm, I don't have VC++, so I can't re-activate it myself - would it be possible to get somebody to re-activate it and send me a Windows binary?
