Do these have any DOS support at all? I have one, and it works great under Windows 98, but Logitech Wingman Software doesn't do anything for DOS. I haven't gotten any DOS software to detect it either.

I have seen a link that suggests it does partially work in DOS mode.

Logitech WingMan Extreme Digital - Analog/MS DOS Mode Operation

When the WingMan Extreme Digital is used under Windows 95/98 with the Logitech WingMan software installed, the joystick functions in digital mode. This means all buttons and the throttle are functional. However, many older DOS games require that Windows 95/98 be restarted in MS-DOS mode. When the computer is restarted into MS-DOS mode or booted to DOS, the joystick will operate in one of two modes: WingMan Extreme mode and CH Flightstick Mode.

However that's the only reference I can find, it's disappeared from Logitech's site, and it refers to the "Extreme Digital" not the "Extreme Digital 3D". Mine's a gameport model, so I was hoping that it would support DOS. Any idea if it's possible?

I had a Wingman Extreme Digital.

Dos games need to support it in digital mode. If not, then you must use one of the two non-digital modes that emulate existing analog joysticks.

I still have one of these, I''ll see if I can figure it out sometime.

IIRC it came with a funky passive USB-to-gameport adapter 😀

I just picked up one of these at a thrift for $5. Nice stick, but I can't get any response from DOS. Mine is missing the gameport-to-USB dongle, so I have it plugged directly into my AWE64 Gold. Any help appreciated.
