For some time, I've been trying to put together a version of DOSBox that combines current SVN code with the parallel-port passthrough features in h-a-l's Megabuild 6, together with other fixes and changes that may be useful for text-based applications. If I can get this done, I'll post the source code and executables.

I've tried two different methods: (1) starting with Megabuild code, and adding various fixes that have been added to SVN since Megabuild was made, and (2) starting with SVN and adding the parallel-port feature from Megabuild.

I haven't been able to succeed with either method. Does anyone have instructions or a patch for adding the parallel port passthrough to SVN, which seems the best way to put together a system that can be maintained with future fixes to SVN.

I'll be very grateful for any help.
