This is a daily build with the latest dosbox and munt (both straight from the repository), with the sergm mt32 dosbox patch applied on top slightly altered to link mt32emu statically and for looking for the roms on the ~/.dosbox dir.
I'm maybe jumping the gun a little (the amd64 hasn't build yet) but it's already build the i386 one and i've done it on my amd64 machine in testing - the problems i had were related to launchpad.
I have near zero intention of maintaining this if it takes work, but i expect it will work for a while since the patch is localized.
Also, the changelog lies: it's taken from the debian repos, but one patch was obsolete (the manpage one) and was removed. This was done so that the version numbering was larger than the 'official' ubuntu release, but less than the next (so that apt-get isn't always telling you that a 'newer version' is available).
When a new dosbox is released, i think i can muster the herculean effort to change a 4 into a 5 on a webpage (assuming debian doesn't do another patch).
