Version 1.0 of Prince of Persia has a very simple install program, but is extremely difficult to get to work. In DOSBox, it will hang after selecting the source drive and directory. This happens regardless of DOSBox DOS or MS-DOS 6.22 is the actual running OS. I then tried it on Windows XP, which sometimes can be a bit more compatible with floppy installs, and the program simply closed at the same point. No files were copied over.

Finally I took a disk image to my Tandy 1000SX, wrote it to a 720KB floppy and the install program completed and actually created the directory and wrote the files to the hard drive without a hitch. I know the install program does little more than make a directory and copy all files except itself, but still.
