Today I found my old Extreme Assault Cd and I decided to install it with dosbox 😁
The setup worked well but I can't run the "XA_3DFX.exe" in the game folder.
I have the message "Need at least 640x480 with 256 colors to run Extreme Assault"
How can i fix it ? Thanks
That sounds like a special version for 3dfx cards. Dosbox doesn't emulate that yet.
That's weird, I read some comments saying that the game perfectly works... but sadly, not for me.

But where's the normal version then ? XA.exe doesn't work either.

Start.bat doesn't work. In fact when the game is about to load, I have the message "Need at least 640x480 with 256 colors to run Extreme Assault"
Seriously guys, I'm desperate, Extreme Assault seems to work for everyone, except for me 😢
Try a different machine type and/or univbe
Extreme Assault works, you first need to setup the screen though.
Try running the setup program first.
And to run the 3dfx version you need SVN build Dosbox like yKwongs build and a glidewrapper like nGlide.
Also you need a fast cpu for this, at least 3GHz.
