I just bought Expertcolor MED3201 with Interwave Am78C201KC chip on it. I didn't know anything about the card before, but since it was ISA and cheap I decided to get it.

Now after Googling I found that it is based on licensed Gravis Ultrasound technology. I know that several demo and game programmers favoured Gravis Ultrasound and I am eager to try it out if it really is compatible.

Is the card compatible with Gravis Ultrasound? What drivers should I use for DOS? What about the sound patches? What are the test / showcase demos and games for Gravis Ultrasound?

I don't think this card will be GUS-compatible because it has no onboard sample RAM and there is no possibility to add some. The GUS PnP (and some clones) which is also based on AMDs Interwave chip, has two SIMM-slots on it. The Interwave chip can run in GUS mode only with sample RAM installed.

Yes, this is GUS PNP clone, but it's not GUS-compatible/
