A bit of an IT half wit so sorry if this is obvious. Loaded C&Q via DOSBox in D-fend reloaded. When I load though I can hear the music but the screen is blank. If I do CTRL-ALT-DLT and then select task manager I can see a condensed version of the game screen all working perfectly. How can I get it to work without doing it this very bizarre way?

Thanks.

I don't use dfend but there should be something to control the dosbox settings and there change output to something else and try again.

In D-Fend Reloaded, under Graphics section, change the Render to "Overlay", and select "Start in Full Screen Mode". Keep the Full Screen Resolution to "original".

If the dosbox goes back to condensed window, try pressing Alt-Enter while this window is active to revert it back to full screen. (Press Alt-TAB to select the active window from a list of opened windows, instead of going to Task Manager. While holding the ALT key, tap on the TAB key to keep switching until you find the one you want and let go of both keys)

If still no result, try changing the Render in D-Fend Reloaded. Or try with other games.

Finally if there is still no favorable result, the graphics driver may be causing a problem.
