Okay here's my system:
MSI MS-6330 2.1 motherboard
AMD Athlon 950 processor
256 MB PC-133 SDRAM
Geforce 2 MX-400 32MB
Soundblater Live 5.1 Value
Windows XP Pro
Stirke Commander

and here's my problem:
I know I'm kind of new to this and these kinda questions are annoying but I've read the beginners guide and the read mes for VDMS Sound 2.1 and I still don't know what to do.
I get the following message when I try to run Strike Commander:
Loading 'VDDLoader.dll'...
Protected mode driver is not responding to EMS function calls.
Make sure your EMS driver is not configured with the NOEMS option.
If it is, replace the option "NOEMS" with "RAM"

I've tried changing some of the properties but I don't really know which ones to change or what to change them to.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have ENOUGH EMS memory assigned under VDMSound? You might have to adjust it a little. Just right-click on the .VLP shortcut and check its properties.

I adjusted the EMS memory trying all of the possible amounts, and it gave me the same message every time.
