This is embarrassing as I asked this before, but after changing to a new computer (still Win 7) I cannot fidn the options file. I want to play Ms Pacman on Dos Box and is works of course perfectly as always. But to permanently switch off the sound I have to changs false to true in the options...

Only I now can no longer see "Options"....

😢

[Thread moved to DOSBox General Section]

You have a shortcut for editting configuration options. Options > DOSBox 0.74 options.

Wrong method.
Run DosBox. It have 2 windows - main and console. In the console windows one of the strings is the path to the .conf file.

Thank you.
The re-install idea worked. Because on the control panel it is NOT possible to access options.... I hate wrong advice.

To re-install it, I had to go to the imnstaled program there and THERE was the options file I was looking for. Tokk one second to change "nosound" from false to true.

Once again, Thank You everybody, Dos Box is great.
Without it all those old games would not work.

Have a nice weekend everybody.

I meant "console window", and that is written clearly up there, is it not?
