I am desperately looking for a patch for the MACINTOSH version of Gabriel Knight: The Beast Within.
I have the following problem:

When I load up the game (the Macintosh CD version) it starts up and plays smoothly. I can also to save my game BUT when I try to restore a game (either during gameplay or once I have quit and want to resume a game) everything just freezes. I can still move my mouse but nothing else happens.

I installed the game and System extensions according to the read me file on the disk.

Is there a patch or does anyone have a suggestion?
This is such a great game. I would love to play it. Plase Help!
