Hi Guys,

last two days I tried hard to get Privateer 2 running on my Win200 Professional machine. It's equipped with P3 800 MHz, 256 MB RAM, TNT2, SB Live! and 40 GB IBM HD. It's the DOS - version of Privateer 2.
I tested several DOS emulators until I managed to run Privateer 2 with VDMSound ver. 2.0.4 once. After recognizing that I needed a joystick and installing it on windows I got the error message:

Missing or invalid 386FX driver

wenn trying to start P2 again. Actually I didn't change any of my system configurations except the joystick thing.

I tried the Privateer 2 Win05 update and it didn't work, i tried the VDMSound LaunchPad and it didn't work, i tried the DOSBox 0.60 and it didn't work and i searched every forum i got to find answers but i didn't got one...
