I'm still wondering about a work-around or bug-fix for DOSBox's keyboard issues. A few months ago, I tried to use the DOSBox forum search engine to find info on the WinVista key layout problems, and I couldn't find it. Basically, some of the keys on the right side of the letter keys don't work right under WinVista. Is there any way to get around or fix this?

That doesn't mean you have to start another new thread instead of bumping your old one.

Uninstalling the driver for Media Center remote control or some keyboard HID device IIRC did a thing about it.

It's really an SDL problem, but they'll deny it, stick their thumbs up their noses and tell you to submit a patch to Windows and make up some excuse that it's not their problem because it's not a Free operating system. 🙁
