The max multiplier is what you can see in the BIOS. If it is 8x you are not going to get further. The latest bios (QS) might solve other issues.

One more thing:

official multiplier support in BIOS does not ALWAYS mean that a higher multi CPU will not work. But you cannot take it for granted.

I have what I think is the latest bios file now bx6qs.exe but I need the flashing software for dos so I can use the bin file. Does anyone know where I can find the correct version of AWDFLASH.EXE does the version matter?

When I try to write the new bios the flash program states:

The Program file's part number does not match with your system!

So I didn't continue trying to flash it. I am trying to update the bios so that it properly detects my Powerleap adaptor with Celeron 1.4Ghz CPU. At the moment it says 1368Mhz as the pc boots up.

In my mirror archive there is also a bx6r2 folder, maybe this bios is more fitting?
