Sorry if this is the wrong category, but I didn't know where else to post.
Is there any way to append MT-32 SysEx commands to midi files (prefferably in batch). I think Quest Studios do that with some of their midis. I tried with Cakewalk to append it but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do, as I have added SysEx to one of the banks, but when it saves the midi file it still has the same size and still doesn't play properly.

In Cakewalk, you first put your sysex into one of the banks, then in a track's Event View, you add a SysEx event with that particular bank's number as a parameter.

Thanks for your reply. Could you perhaps tell me the steps to take? I'm not very familiar with Cakewalk, as I couldn't find a way to insert the SysEx in a bank.

View->Sysx->Edit Bytes to edit bytes manually, or View->Sysx->Load Bank to load bytes from a file.
