Today I decided to play the Pharaoh Tomb vol1 (shareware) again,
So i play it again with DosBox 0.74, using default config (-resetconf) then adjust the cycles between 300 to 400.
But according to my nostalgia memories there something doesn't feel right:
Whenever Nevada Smith walks left/right on flat tiles, it suppose to have something "tap tap tap tap tap tap" sound effect.
But on dosbox, the "tap" sound only audible sometime and its sounded like a single 'click' ..., in most case it just silent walk.

Whats the good DosBox config/settings for Pharaoh Tomb?

Mightn't this be caused by inaccuracies in the PC speaker emulation in DOSBox?
See DosBox's PC speaker is terrible .

With ykhwong's build (which incorporates the improved speaker emulation patch) I get steady "tapping" at 400 cycles.
