I'm having a strange issue with DosBox where it seems that whenever a file is written using the DOS program "Power-Link" that file becomes inaccessible the next time it needs to be used.
Power-Link is a pretty simple DOS Program. It reads log files from one location in text format and generates reports based on them which it writes to another location. It also has internal configuration files which is where I'm experiencing the issue. Upon running the program for the first time, it generates configuration files for how it should run each time afterward. The files are generated just fine, but when it comes time to change any of the configuration files all I get is Access Denied from the Power Link program referring to those configuration files. I verified that the files are not read only and even tried giving everyone write permission but I still get that file as unable to access. The configuration files also exist in the same directory as the executable, so I don't think it's a pathing error.
Has anyone experienced an issue like this with their own DosBox software?
Operating System - Windows 7 (64 Bit)
Dos Box Version - MB6 (for printing support)
