hi!

i have a weird problem with the new 0.61 version (did not happen in 0.60):
when using the text mode (on command line) oder 640*400 svga graphics mode (in game) this works perfectly as long as using dosbox in a window.
but when switching to fullscreen, then only a part of the screen is being displayed: at the bottom and the right border a piece is missing and is just black (no the problem is not that my monitor is badly calibrated, i can see the area, but all pixels are just black). 😢

any ideas? thanks a lot!

regards,

rh

hi!

thanks for your help, but this has just the opposite effect:
the missing areas get even bigger 🙁

funny things, when i make a screenshot using the built in function then the black areas are not there (in the screenshot). when i make a screenshot using PRINT-key then thy are there.

consider it a feature of dosbox. I don't feel like explaining it alll
Just search this forum. I'm sure it's discussed a few times.

Blame your videocard drivers/monitor whatever for not setting up/providing a correct 640x400 mode.

hi Harekiet!

thanks for your a little more detailed answer.

the strange thing is, with version 0.60 there were absolutely no such problems. so whatever new feature this is, it would be good if it was possible to switch it off.
