Problem with zips

I'm using the latest version of Internet Explorer under Win2k, and I'm having a really simple problem;
I think most people are familiar with the built-in download manager in IE, the one that asks in a pop-up window if you want to open a file from it's URL or save it to your computer somewhere.
Well, one day, for whatever reason, I unchecked the little box that says "Always ask before opening this type of file" and then clicked open for a zip file. So now, every time i want to donload a zip from somewhere without a direct URL link where I can click "Save Target As," like HOTU for instance, it will automatically download to my temp folder and open itself. This is starting to piss me off because I work with zips alot and got used to clicking "save" and putting it on my desktop without opening it.
I'm sure there's just some option in a menu somewhere where I can tell it to start asking me before opening again, but I've had no luck finding it. Any help is appreciated.

Windows Explorer, menu Tools -> Folder Options ->File Types, choose the extension, then button Edit -> checkbox "Confirm open after download"

Try this:
- Open Windows Explorer (not IE) and select Folder Options under the Tools menu.
- Go to the File Types tab and select the ZIP extension in the list.
- Click on Advanced and the chek the Confirm open after download option.

This shoud re-enable the save file dialog for .zip files in IE.

Thanks, I would've never figured that out on my own.
