I use the DosBox 0.74 a long time and it worked correctly but I changed my graphic card and something happened.
I used it in windowed mode (1280*960) with the 'ddraw' and 'advmame3x'.
But now the 'Render' and 'Output' don't work.
I changed the 'Output' the all other settings and it simply turns to default resolution and doesn't care with the 'Render' settings (320*240 without render). If I change the 'Render' setting nothing happens. If I turn back to 'ddraw' the window resolution changes back to the correct level but there is no use the render settings.
If I switch to full screen the problems remain.
What happened?

Did you install the correct drivers for your new video card and uninstall the old ones?

Yes, I uninstalled the drivers because my old card was an ATI and the new one is an nVIDIA...

Is your DirectX up to date? Do the scalers work when playing fullscreen? Did you change the resolution options?

Yes, I updated the directX because my old card was a DX10.1 card and the new one is a DX11.1!
Yes, I changed both of the windowed and full screen resolutions!
I wrote if I change to full screen this error remains...

As I wrote it worked with this config but I have to changed it to advmame2x if I run for example the Syndicate [640*480] (and any other high resolution programs)!

I changed the 'Output' settings to all other settings and it doesn't work!

I partly solved this problem!
If I set the in the [sdl] the output from ddraw to opengl the error disappears BUT
what generates this error?
Why the nvidia card can't use the ddraw settings while the ati can do it???

I haven't known the DirectDraw had deprecated because it gives better picture (for me) than the other Graphics APIs...
