hi guys.....I've just downloaded dosbox for Mac OSX but when I try to mount c drive in, the box says that the directory doesn't exist. how it's possible?!?! I start DosBoz with Z, not C so there is something wrong?

but I also do!!! sorry for my language I'm italian and I think I'll never play with dosbox.....at the start I have:

Z:\>

ok ok...now I have to do this: mount c /home/user/dosprog but what does it means? I have some old game in a directory but how can I tell to dosbox where they are?

help me Rob!!!!!! I have Mac OSX Panther 10.3.2

First remember that Mac paths differ somehow from those UNIX paths, wich are the ones used by DosBox (and virtually by any program, although you will not see it).

The actual path of almost everything in your computer is usually this one:

/Volumes/Macintosh HD/...whatever

in UNIX, spaces are substituted by backslashes, that is:

/Volumes/Macintosh\ HD/...

Or you may use quotes ("/Volumes/Macintosh HD/...")

Again, I advice you use a graphical front-end. Try Petit dosbox at:

To make life easier just move the game directory into the User folder
so it'll look like this /Users/LSL7 (Leisure Suit Larry 7 for example)
And when u wanna mount u type:
mount c /users/lsl7
And then u just type c:
And C drive will be the LSL7 folder

But i still dont know how to change the core of DosBox from Dos4gw to Dos32a!
