Hello guys!

Im new there and sorry if i write to a wrong topic...

I have an application for my wife's work.
This application placed to a folder on my home server.
The server drive attached into my windows 8 system.
I edited the DOSBox 0.74 Options.bat file with lines following:

mount c y:\tars
c:
tars.exe

The first lie is the folder on the server
second one is unequivocal
third is the program what i wanna start from the network

First time when i launched the program, its ran normally.
After a little trouble, i wrote again the changes in the bat file.
And i cant attach back the driver on the server into my doybox system.

The drive still on my win 8 system, and reachable. Drive letter wasn't changed.

i reinstalled the dosbox, reset the settings.... Nothing.

What could be the problem?

Thanks any answers

Not sure how you can fix it. DosBox isn't really intended for business applications though, as it's built mainly to run games at a decent speed, without necessarily emulating every little quirk that DOS PCs typically have. In other words, it's an accurate enough emulation for running games, but I wouldn't rely on it for anything mission-critical.

What I would suggest doing instead, is setting up DOS to work in a virtual machine, and finding some way to get that to interact with your network.
