Hi everyone,

i'm new to this forum and happy i found it wishing i can find a solution to my little problem.

I'm new at DOSBOX (Megabuild) but i'm able to use it for my old DOS program at work.

This program is comunicating with different ports (COM1, COM2, COM3, LPT1) and everything seems to work fine allthough i see the following message repeated in the status window :

Serial1: Errors: Framing 21, Parity 0, Overrun RX:0 (IF0:0), TX:0, Break 14

The numbers chage but the message is always the same.

Can someone tell me what is it due to?

The subject has come up before, but nothing particularly definitive has been established.

Serial ports and Radio Service software.
Rename Serial Ports (COM4->COM5)
Serial port setting in dosbox.conf
Serial Error Overrun RX
Framing and Overrun Errors with Dosbox->USB->Serial->MoTeC Engine Management

Needless to say, getting non-game serial port applications working is not particularly a priority.
