recently I am trying to play syndicate wars again on my newer pc, but encountered a problem where the game is either too fast or too slow, I kept playing with ctrl+f11/f12 to try to get it just right, no luck to that of course... isn't there suppose to have a full auto cycle for situation like this?? I used to play the game with my older laptop on vista, and the dosbox on that system I had before had a auto cycle function, and I don't know how to make it work in this one... and also if I tried to lower the speed, the audio/sound started to have problem, so can anyone help me put, please??

many thanks in advance!!

Keith

Hi Keith!
Fortunately, Bullfrog included a speed limiter in this game (their earlier games always have speed issues). I think that even on an MMX 166 SVGA is still a bit too fast.
As far as I remember, if the game is going too fast all you have to do is press - (minus) and this will gradually decrease the game speed. So, if initially the speed is 100%, if you press - once it will be running at 90% or something very similar.
Give it a try!

thanks!! I was trying 30%, that the best trade off i could do to make the game slightly faster than normal while not fast enough to become irritating.
