I need help with mounting Daggerfall! I had previously been able to do it, but now when I try mount c c:/dosgames/df -freesize 1000 it gives me this message:

"Directory c:/dosgames/df doesn't exsist"

I have dosgames and the daggerfall files set on my C drive, so the folder and directory is there. I tried automounting it and that still didn't do any good. Please someone help! I really want to play Daggerfall! Also I'm running it on Windows 8 and I have memsize as directed by Bethesda set at 32.

Might not make a difference, but it's normally a backslash instead of a forward slash, e.g.

mount c c:\dosgames\df -freesize 1000

@eraH, nope it really doesn't make a difference

@Dominus, this is what my file structure looks like. Also Windows 8 was installed before I downloaded DOSbox.

Am I missing something here? The directories are called "DAGGER" and "DFCD", not "DF".

edit:

mount c c:\dosgames
c:
cd dagger
...

Do this. Hold the shift key down and right click on the folder you want to mount and choose "Copy as path". Open Notepad and paste what is on your clipboard into Notepad. This is the path to the folder you are trying to mount.

Follow the guide from bethesda, which I thought you already did, from the memsize comment in your first post.

Or read and follow the 60 seconds guide

If you take account of the directory names, I guess. I haven't read the tutorial but I read that it works great normally 😉
