Delete will work but that is not really wiping just smudging.
You want to use tools for your host...
Just write zeros on it.. Then its real clean.

I have decided to create a new 2GB hard disk from scratch.
bximage
then
imgmount x x:\dos.img -size 512,63,16,4093
The mounting was successful,but
I couldn't copy files into it, why was that? (Unable to format it)

Fdisk and format. There is a guide in the guides section.
You know this thread would have gone differently if you had written you want to wipe a mounted hard drive image....

Isn't Imgmake superior to bximage precisely because it does not require all this extra formatting?
