Me, too. I'm always on the hunt for underpriced vintage gear. It's been getting harder to find lately, but I still find a few gems once in a while. Those gold recovery lots on ebay can yield some real treasures. I managed to get a Biostar 486 PCI board and a Cyrix 5x86-120/4x from those lots already.

I'm still looking for a VL Blaster or SCC-1 for gold recovery,though. 🤣

Somebody paid way too much for a rebranded AST computer. The Sensation II was just run of the mill hardware compared to the original Sensation with its PSSJ sound system.

The problem with looking at "sold items" on ebay is that you don't know how many of those are non-paying bidders. Happened to me as well and I hate it when it does.

I came across this just this evening. I found it because it's one of the C6a4 games I really want. Not at this price though. Actually, I'm not really surprised at the ending price, I almost never see "originals" of this game up on eBay. I think, in the last 3 years, I've seen 2 that I trusted t be originals.

That's the rarest of the rare C64 games. It was hard to find even when it was new, a lot harder now. Prices will only go up. It tops most rarity guides at 8 out of 10 or harder to find. If you really want a copy just to play, cassette versions from the UK sell for a lot less than the US floppies.

Somebody thought it was because it's no longer available. I can't see paying that much for any old machine with 0 RAM 0 HDD and so many empty slots.
